Book band packs
Levelled from Reception through to Year 6, our book banding book packs for schools ensure you always receive the most appropriate books at the right levels. Book packs are available for each of the book band colours. Each pack includes non-schemed reading books for independent or home reading.
How do book bands work?
Ongoing assessments establish child reading levels and if they move to the next level of book band packs or continue with the current level of early years books.
What are the colour reading bands?
Book band colours start at lilac and progress up using pink, red, yellow, blue, green, orange to turquoise – the final level of beginner reading bands.
