Turn reluctant readers into confident readers

Research by Professor Teresa Cremin at The Open University identified What on Earth! Magazine as a powerful intervention for turning reluctant readers into confident readers. Engaging pupils who do not think of themselves as 'book readers', it can help children develop vital information processing skills and unlock powerful group conversations.

"The number of pupils who said they didn’t often talk with peers about reading decreased substantially from 60% to 36%, indicating a shift toward more regular peer engagement."
